My name is Laveda and I am a photo hobbyist! I enjoy the freedom in taking pictures of whatever I want, where I want, and how I want! My camera is nothing special, but for me it is a source of entertainment. My weapon is a Nikon D80 with a 50mm 1:1.8; 70-300mm 1:4-5.6; or a 18-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens. As most know, buying camera equipment is a spendy venture but little by little my equipment is coming together! Most of my images are from the Pacific Northwest. I live on Whidbey Island and feel fortunate to be able to live in a place where people spend a lot of money to come and vacation-yet, it is my back yard! This summer I will be returning to Alaska and you can bet my camera will be there to capture every minute! I look forward to updating my gallery with gorgeous pictures of SE Alaska! |

I saw this lighthouse in Newport, Oregon in the summer of 2009 and thought it was the most classic lighthouse I had ever seen! |
